HR Generalist Intern
Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist Intern, you will work closely with the HR team to:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, and sourcing candidates.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules.
- Support new hire onboarding, including preparing documents and conducting orientation sessions.
Employee Relations:
- Assist in addressing employee inquiries and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
HR Administration:
- Help maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in processing HR documents such as contracts, policies, and performance reviews.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring HR activities align with labor laws and company policies.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.
- Contribute ideas for employee development programs.
HR Projects:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
